Nobody knows how many tomorrows or what kind of tomorrows we will have, but I put my faith and love in the One who knows all my tomorrows, Jesus Christ. God does not judge us by how much we have endured but by how much we have loved. People will know who we are by our pasts, but only Christ defines us. That definition is based on how we love one another and how we care for others.
God is our guide, supporter, helper, and friend. With His love, we receive peace, hope, joy, grace, and strength. He says, “Be still and know that I am,” and with that quietness, He changes everything. He has called us by our names and declared that we are His. He knew us before we were born, and His love serves as our birthplace.
We find safety in His arms, a home filled with warmth, confidence in knowing we are His, and a place where fear and doubt do not exist. Through the purposes that He has given us, we can join in His work and show His love to the whole world. The greatest gift that He gives to us is the knowledge that we are His children. Despite our faults and troubled journeys, we will always be His through the power of forgiveness.
If we believe in Him, we will have Eternal life, and nothing will keep us from His love. Whatever or wherever our purposes lead us, our paths will be made straight, and our thoughts, words, and deeds will be made more powerful by our faith in the One who walked on the water and calmed the stormy seas that we encounter. As my life has unfolded, faith, hope, and love abide still, but love is the greatest gift I can share with all who are lost and who are in need. In doing this, I become a part of His plans and His will for our beautiful world.
