While I try to walk in the Lord’s righteous ways, I stumble at times when my faith is weak. Psalm 1, Book 1, speaks to how the Lord knows when we are righteous and when we need to ask for His forgiveness for our faults.
Righteous Ways
Blessed are you when you do not accept advice from the ungodly.
Blessed are you when you walk away from sinners and are not scornful of others.
The righteous man happily accepts the Lord’s law and meditates in that law day and night.
A man is like a tree planted by the rivers when he bears fruit in the right season.
The leaves of his limbs will not die, and his work will contribute to the earth’s prosperity.
The ungodly are none of these things, and they will blow away like chaff.
The ungodly will not stand in judgment, and sinners will not stand in congregations of the righteous.
The Lord knows the ways of the righteous, while the ungodly shall perish.
