A Prayer for Our World      

Lord, our world needs Your love, hope, light, peace, and grace.

Hatred has replaced love.

Despair has diminished hope.

Darkness continues to fight the power of Your light.

Violence and immorality debase any semblance of peace.

People refuse to show grace by demanding their own agendas.

You watch over us at all times.

Your loving voice helps us to be who You want us to be.

You empower us every day with Your enduring presence.

We overcome and conquer all things because of You.

You are bigger than our fears and doubts.

You guide us away from our anxieties and help us see the truth above all else.

You help us to remain positive by Your abundant joy.

Help us to be the light and the love that everyone needs.

Help us to put our trust in You when fears steer us away from You.

Help us to feel Your loyal and unfailing love.

Help us to remain calm and strengthened by Your presence amidst our difficulties.

Help us to realize that the most growth occurs when we allow You into our every moment.

With praise and gratitude, we ask that You renew our world with love, hope, light, peace, and grace.

May we walk in Your spirit as we carry the Word, the truth, the light, and the way into this darkened world.

May we know that we are never alone because You carry us in the palms of Your hands.
