The is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. It was a beautiful day for church, to sing, and to realize that we are the most blessed nation in the world. Rehearsing “God Bless America” this morning for the Memorial Day service out at the park made me tear up; with all of the negative things in the world, the here and now is so wonderful to be a part of. I pray that all Americans have had as beautiful a Sunday as I have had and to realize, if they only open their hearts to Jesus Christ, He will heal them. The anger, hatred, violence, and volcanic language will be pushed from us, and in their places will be peace, hope, light, love, and grace. “Glory to God in the highest and peace, goodwill to men.”
