This world is being attacked by negativity and evil each and every day. We watch or listen to the news reports and wonder what has happened to our once peaceful planet. I firmly believe God is not allowing us to destroy each other. He gave us choice so that we can make the right decisions or wrong ones. We need to return to the cross where Jesus Christ took our sins and gave up His life so that we may be forgiven.
Jesus taught us to be aware of false prophets and to realize they are constantly fighting for our attention. There will be wars and insurrections, but we must not be fearful, for these things must happen before the end slowly follows. Nations will rise against nations, and kingdoms will conquer kingdoms. There will be earthquakes, tidal waves and floods, hurricanes, famines, gun violence, plaques, and insufferable nastiness among each one of us. Dreadful things may happen to our families, and great signs from heaven will occur.
Before all of this happens, we may be arrested and persecuted. The courts will give us time to testify on our behalves, but kings and governors will want us to deny Christ’s name. We may wish to prepare a defense for ourselves, but Christ will give us the words and the wisdom to topple false prophets and unjust court systems. We may be betrayed by family members, relatives, friends, and neighbors; some of us may even be put to death in Christ’s name. We may be hated by all because we believe in Jesus Christ, but we will not be assaulted by any one. Our endurance and strength of character will bolster our souls.
God will redeem every nation, race, and land with His almighty hand. Love and mercy will guide and heal our troubled world. Searching for wealth and power, scorning truth and right, trusting in destructive bombs, placing race and station above Christ and the cross, the false prophets will rise no more. God will deliver every nation on the earth. He will strengthen those who labor and will calm the rattling sword. His voice will be heard over the faltering hope and courage of the world’s children. Our faith will not be changed, and we will serve Him with renewed courage and strong minds, hearts, and souls.
One day, God will command all armies to stop fighting, and love and peace will replace hatred and division. One bright and peaceful morning, truth and love will replace the hatred and anger that has destroyed His beautiful creation. On that day, Christ will rule over the world, victorious and glorious in His Father’s name. Once again, His light will shine throughout the world, and we will all know that He lives.
