Psalm 96, Book II, encourages us to sing a new song each and every day so that the Lord is blessed by all who believe and do His will among all nations. From our joyful meditations, the earth will know His salvation and truth.
Psalm 96
The earth will sing a new song so that all will know His salvation.
I will show His glory to the non-believers and will declare His wonders among the earth’s peoples.
I will continually praise the Lord’s greatness, and I will fear Him above all gods.
The gods of nations are idols, but the Lord’s greatness lies in the heavens.
Honor and majesty are given to Him, and strength and beauty show in His sanctuary.
I will give glory and strength to the Lord as the multitudes also honor and glorify Him.
I will bring offerings to His courts and give His name glory.
All the earth fears Him as we worship the holy beauty of the Lord.
The Lord reigns among the non-believers, and the world will not be moved.
He judges all people with righteousness, and the heavens rejoice as the earth is glad.
The seas roar, the fields are joyful, and the trees of the forests rejoice before the Lord.
The Lord comes to judge the earth righteously, and the people will know His truth.
