Always and Forever

He led with His heart; I can lead with mine.

He carried my soul through trials; I can hold someone’s hand through theirs.

He took my fear and made me trust; I was afraid of letting anyone in, doubting everything.

He caught me in His arms; I lived in my mind, always running away.

His true power was His love; I found that true love deep in my heart.

He listened to my cries, making dreams come true; I listened to His voice and found a secure home.

He took my hand, leading me to a higher ground; I have followed my heart to a wiser, more loving place.

He taught me to believe my heart and eyes; I was lost but He gave me direction.

He lit my path with abundant light; I found the day’s light out of the darkened night.

He loved everyone with grace, humility, and compassion; I can lead with my heart, helping others find their way.

He said, “There are no mistakes, just lessons to be learned;” I have been reborn to a richer, fuller life.

He leads me with hope, peace, joy, and love; I will follow, leading with my heart, always and forever.
