A Call for Peace      

Give us the wisdom to know who are false prophets.

Help us to hold in high esteem those who are helping humanity.

Guide us in replacing wars with peace, hatred with love.

Help kingdoms to conquer social problems, not each other.

Give our families the courage to face their problems and faith to change unjust government policies.

Protect us from those who would betray us and those who do not know You.

Guide us to withstand all trials with strength and endurance.

Command the world’s armies to stop fighting, to promote peace.

Help us to replace hatred and division with love and peace.

Help us to take care of Your beautiful creation with truth and love.

Give us clear vision to witness Christ’s victorious return to the earth in Your name.

Let His light shine in all the earth and live in our hearts.

With Your love and grace, a distant steeple bell will toll from an old country church.

Heeding Christ’s call to come home, we will rest in peace throughout the world.
